I chat with a remarkable young woman who along with friends at her high school started a project to ship books and computers to an under resourced community in Zambia.  Fast forward to 2024 20 years later and Julie-Anne Savarit-Cosenza, Co-founder & Executive Director, African Education Program is now running a program that serves over 4000 children youth and women.  It’s an inspiring story making a dream become reality. This year Mothers' Day Movement's has made the Program its 2024 beneficiary partner. The Mothers' Day Movement seeks to honor mothers in America and worldwide by shifting Mother’s Day gift giving towards sustainable projects that uplift disadvantaged communities.
